Meet the person behind the glasses

A mortgage geek.
A heart for people.

I’m Celeste Sierra—a wife, mom, mortgage professional, and breast cancer survivor. My faith, my family, and my community are at the heart of who I am.

For 31 years, I’ve helped people make sense of home financing. I love explaining the details, answering the questions people are sometimes afraid to ask, and helping them feel more prepared for their next chapter.

Who I am · The longer story

Mortgages are my work.
People are my why.

I’m Celeste Sierra, and most people know me as Your Mortgage Geek. I’ve spent 31 years in mortgage financing, helping people work through questions that can feel overwhelming when you’re trying to make a big decision about a home.

I enjoy the details—but I also know that the details only matter when they make sense to you. I want our conversations to be open and honest, with space to talk about your concerns, your priorities, and what you’re hoping this next chapter will look like.

I’m also a wife and a mom to two daughters. My family and my Christian faith are central to my life. They shape what I value, how I keep perspective, and why community matters so much to me.

My breast cancer journey

A chapter I never expected.

In January 2026, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It became a deeply personal chapter for me and for the people who love me. Alongside the appointments and decisions came the need to lean on my faith, accept support, and take life one step at a time.

I chose to share my journey publicly because I wanted people to see the person behind the business, too. Life does not pause neatly around our work, and some experiences change the way we think about family, preparation, and the time we have together.

Today, I share my story as a breast cancer survivor. That part of my life is meaningful to me, but it sits alongside all the other parts: being a mom, a wife, a friend, a business owner, and someone who still wants to show up for her community.

Faith has been part of my journey.
So has the love of a community that showed up.

I’m grateful for the encouragement and practical support I’ve received. Giving back has become a personal way to carry that care forward.

Why I share it here

A little more understanding.
A little more connection.

I don’t expect every client’s story to look like mine. I do believe it helps to remember that there is a real person on each side of a conversation. You may be navigating an exciting milestone, a difficult transition, or a little of both.

That’s why I want to understand your situation before we talk about a loan. The goal is to help you feel heard, understand what’s being discussed, and know what your next step involves.

Beyond the pink ribbon

Hope becomes action
when we give back.

I support and give back to THE Breast Cancer Fundraiser because its focus on caring for patients and their loved ones is close to my heart.

Our Beyond the Pink Ribbon gathering brought people together around health, hope, and community while benefiting the organization. For me, it was a way to turn a personal experience into an opportunity to show up for others.

The organization provides practical care and encouragement to breast cancer patients and their loved ones through its WeCare program and community activities.

If you’d like to learn about their work or find a way to help, please visit their website.

Your support goes through the organization’s own website.

What I bring to our conversation

Experience.
Patience. A personal touch.

I believe people deserve open, honest conversations about their financing. You should feel comfortable asking questions and understand the options being discussed.

Whether you’re buying your first home, planning ahead, or revisiting your mortgage, I want to know what matters to you.

And if you’d rather talk in Spanish, podemos hablar en español.
